Poland Part 2

After the wedding we headed back to Warsaw where we went up the top of the Palace of Science and Culture.  This is the Palace from our hotel (31st floor) on a much clearer day:

Warsaw was really not what I was expecting, very modern and the parts of the old town that we did see was not as impressive as I thought they would be.  These are some views of the city from the top.

The tall dark building on the right was our hotel.

After Warsaw we went to the beautiful City of Krakow.  Sadly due to my broken leg we were unable to go to the Castle, however, we will certainly be going back here, hopefully sometime soon.

Then off to Austria we went.

Krakow looks cracking! Did you get my message on Facebook? Does Freya want to join us for a kiddycrop at my house?

I had to pop clear back to your June posts and follow your travels! How very fun to read! You have been to some amazing places. So sorry you broke your leg, but it looks like it did not slow you down too much! Thanks for popping in tonight, I thoroughly enjoyed my travels with you!

Sorry, couldn't resist having a further peek! Krakow has certainly changed since we were there - no Hard Rock when we went. It certainly looks a bit more tidied up in 14 years!

Oops! Make that 16 years ago! My doesn't time fly!! Just showed my hubby the pics too. The cream building with the arches was a scruffy building in which carpets were sold and the Bureau de Change was in at the back of the shop - very odd!! How things have changed!
