For the past few years I have seen numerous bloggers taking a photo a day. This year I am joining in and I am hoping to post once a week on a Saturday to share some of our photos. we are working on this project as a family and I my not necessarily take the photos myself, I want to encourage Liam and Freya to preserve their childhood adventures.
This week Liam and Freya have gone back to school after what seemed like an eternity. Usually the holidays seem to fly by but the two week Christmas break seemed to go on for ever. I honestly think all three of us were happy to get back to our day to day schedule. We have not done anything exciting this week, just trying to get back in to our routines. This is my favourite photo taken this week.
A nice bed time hot chocolate made with frothy milk, chocolate sprinkled on top and a lovely big gulp of Bailies. Just what a needed on Friday night.
I never joined in last year and I really thought that I would not be able to keep up with this project but I am going to give it a go this year. To be honest with Project Life I did take photos most days and it wasn't really a chore. If I miss a day it won't be the end of the world; I just want to preserve our memories and as much as I hate the idea I am going to take at least one photo of me each week preferably with Liam and Freya. I look at our photos and there are very few photos of me with Liam and Freya; its something I want to do for their memories.

Totally agree re having photos of ourselves with the kids. However much I prefer to be behind the camera I need to be infant too for the kids memories.
A lovely picture - delicious x
My favourite hot chocolate is one with baileys and that looks delicious!
ooooh yum! i may have to try one of these myself.....now where is that bottle of Baileys???
Best of luck with sticking to the 365 project. I did my first last year and absolutely loved how it turned into a daily journal and record of a very eventful year.
Now, can I have one of those hot chocolates? Best idea I've seen all week. ;)
I make myself one of those every day, my little treat!
Mmm hot choc & baileys - perfect!
baileys hot chocolate...that looks lovely!
Looks scrummy,
Yum yes please
where did you get that cup? I NEED it! :-)
Good luck with the project, I think it is a lovely idea to include the children and their shots too. The hot chocolate looks lovely, I'm partial to one myself. The reds in the photo are really striking, very effective.
I am also a huge fan of hot chocolate - as long as it is hot. Nothing annoys me more than having it served up luke warm
