WOYWW & Opening Up The Christmas Stash Box

Wednesday is here again and time really is flying by & before we know Santa will be coming down that chimney!  Here is my desk this week:

No crafting has been done this week by me.  Freya has been using her promarkers.  Not always at the desk as the colouring of the sofa shows.  Any idea if you can get promarkers out of fabric?  Anybody want any promarkers if it doesn't come out?  One is not amused!

Well back to the desk.  See that big box in the middle?

The one that usually sits up here:

Sits on top of my expedit with this lot:

Don't usually get to see that mess on top do you lol.  From the left, the box of paints, the pile of LO's waiting to go in albums, the pile of unopened stash kits (yes, not even touched!), couple of albums and some more stash.  September Studio Calico has been opened but the October one hasn't.  I digress, this box opens up to reveal Christmas stash:

Inside we have:

Bo Bunny - look its been cut in to (rare as you will see)

More Bo Bunny

Imaginisce:

October Afternoon:

Fancy Pants:

Around the Block:

Anna Griffin:

Smirk:

Pack of mix manufacturers than has been cut into (Apart from the first Bo Bunny above none other the others have been touched):

A scrapbook stack kit:

And finally the Dovecraft which I am using for Shimelle's Journal Your Christmas:

In the above picture the papers at the back are 8 x 8 and the ones to the front are 6 x 6.  You can't tell from the photo but the 6 x 6 papers are about 1" thick.  In fact in all of the ranges there are at least 2 of each design and where they are double sided there are usually 4 of each design.  I love a few of the new Christmas ranges this year - Cosmo Cricket & Echo Park are favourites  - but with all this stash that has such a limited use I really can't justify the expense of anything new.  Having said that, I'm off to the NEC on Saturday!!!!!!

This is just the extent of my Christmas stash, non Christmas is much much more plentiful!  This is why I need to use a lot of it before I can justify buying anymore.  It will quite literally take over the house soon.

Must go now as I need to get ready for work.  If you want to join in visit head WOYWW Julia for all the details.

If you have managed to stick with me to here well done and thanks for visiting.  May open up a few more boxes in a couple of weeks time.

Enjoy your day and Happy WOYWW x

Christmas has REALLY arrived on your craft table. You have more C-word paper than I've seen on any of the desks. Some have more stamps, but you have the most paper. Gorgeous paper, too. And to think you have all those kits that have never been touched. Amazing.

As for Pro markers? I don't own any, but I bet they are permanent. I hope someone will know how to get them out of fabric. Happy WOYWW from #1.

You don't mind if I just sit here rocking myself and drooling? I mean, with such a wanton display of yummy papers, could you really expect any other reaction from any of us? They are FAB! Sorry I can't help with the Promarker problem, but perhaps if you try Aunty Google for an answer? Thanks for the timely warning though - I'd better ensure Lil Miss B only ever uses my Copics at the desk!

you can try using the blending pen and a stain devil for permanent ink removal but you may make the stain worse - or you could treat yourself to a lovely throw?

hee hee it's tough when they are being creative and mess up!

Your papers have almost made me want to make some Christmas cards. The Fancy Pants papers are especially yummy.

As to the pens, are they alcohol based? If so, a little alcohol may shift them. A dry clean stick might also work. If not, I'd love to have them.

Oh...I have serious paper envy!! I've got papers that I can't bear to use and am saving them for a "special occassion!" Pam (23)

Those Fancy Pants papers are gorgeous aren't they? I got some of those and just cannot bring myself to cut into them LOL Not sure about how to get PM's out of fabric... would a blender pen work I wonder? You know, like chucking white wine on red wine stains? That actually is a bit of a waste of wine really, I would drink the white and embellish the red to make it a feature LOL Good luck with the stain removal :O))

I don't know about Promarkers. There must be a solvent which will bring them out. Wish you luck anyway!
Bo Bunny is lovely paper...my favourites are the brightly coloured ones.

Yeah, you have a lot of Christmas stash. But oh my how beautifully organised it is! You can lay your hands on it immediately! You'll get so much pleasure from using it that it'll be worth using it - if you get my drift!

Hmmm, you should be feeling the C spirit with that little lot on the desk! I got mine out this week too - tend to avoid C papers the rest of the year! Happy WOYWW Annette#5

It seems we have a lot in common, you and I. Not only do our daughters have the same name and pinch our promarkers, (sorry I don'y know how to get them out of fabric) I see you are a Bo Bunny addict too. They are only to be used for very special layouts I have decided. I still can't believe how many paper boxes you have!!
Thanks for sharing.
