Blogging.....It's A Hard Thing To Do

When you blog on a regular basis every few days its becomes part of your life.  Then life takes over.  First the little things and then the big things.  Before you know it you last blogged on Valentine's Day and then its Mothering Sunday.

That's what happened here.

Life.

The little things.

The big things.

After a month a way from your little blog, your part of the web, it's hard to start again.

Where to pick up.

What to include.

What to leave out.

That's the hard thing when so much has happened.

It all started with half term.  A whole week away from work and school.

Day trips out:

Hospital visits.

After seeing the official PL pockets I placed an order and decided to do a two page spread each week.  Just need to print off a few more photos for some weeks now I have expanded each week to two pages.

Bromsgrove Crop

Sticks & String

Knit & Natter

Fun, exciting times.

And then it all went wrong.

A week of feeling tired.

Very tired.

Not feeling right, but not knowing exactly why.

Then last Thursday chest pains and a fast beating heart.

The back of an ambulance.

Heart rate of 196 and not slowing down.

After 5 hours of tests, GTN spray and tablets my heart rate goes down to 130.  Still too high but much better.

On Friday afternoon the hospital manage to get my heart rate down to 100 and send me for an angiogram.

Didn't hurt, not really unpleasant but the lying wide awake with a wire in your heart is mentally not a comfortable feeling.  Everything is clear.

After 6 hours, my wrist stops bleeding.  Just typical its me who bleeds and bleeds!

Heart rate is down, its the weekend.  They send me home.

Still very very tired.

Twinges in the nerves in my neck all day Saturday.  Phone the hospital, they say don't worry.

Then last night it all becomes clear, very clear.  The blisters appear.....

Shingles (Again!)

A Sunny October Afternoon

Well it was about time we had some sun isn't it!  Headed off out yesterday, camera in hand to make good use of the lovely weather and get some more photos to scrap.  And what happens????  Camera battery was dead, I'd left it switched on the day before when I was downloading some photos.  Out comes the mobile:

Not really good quality I'm afraid.  Had a new phone a couple of weeks ago as mine was experiencing some problems and was still under warranty.  O2 didn't have the same model in stock and sent me an upgrade instead.  well to be honest the camera is rubbish.

After a walk there is only one thing to do - sit yourself down for a lovely cool drink!

Dry Day & Mega Photo Shoot!

Oh yes that is what we have had today, a lovely lovely super dry day!  Ok no sunny summer weather but it at least today was dry.  Finally got the kids out and set about on my mega scrapping photo shoot.  Its what all good Scrapping Mothers do, make their kids, jump, sit, stand, well generally pose for over 2 hours in order to get those few shots to scrap.

Here are a few of my favourites:

At this point (just over 1 hour in) Liam has had enough

So to liven things up, we pose with a ladybird:

This is one of my favourites, little sad I didn't capture a ladybird with wings open on Liam but there is always another day - well I can hope for another dry day over the holidays, surely?

There are of course lots more and the ones of the ladybird are so gorgeous, some need a little cropping before they are printed but all in all I am pleased with the end results.  Oh apart from that dreadful tattoo on Freya's arm.  Went on a playdate last week and her friend Lizzie gave them to her, turned my back for one millisecond and there they were slapped on her arm.  I so detest them, arm scrubbing with olive oil is coming real soon!

Please note for a fee, models can be hired.  Sadly you will have to return the ladybird but you can keep the other two at no extra cost, I might even be persuaded to pay you to take them away ;0)
