Freya Hijacks My Blog!

Freya (she's 8 years old) has been scrapping this weekend too.

For some reason we are having trouble signing in to her blog so I am putting her entry in to ATDML's Cyber Crop Challenge 5 on here for her.

Hope you like it.  This is her baby Cousin Thomas on his 1 month photo shoot. We both used the same sketch from sketch savvy.  I am under strict orders to tell everybody that she did her LO first and I copied her.

ATDML's Cyber Crop Challenge 5

Challenge #5 was called 'Olympic Podium'.  This meant you could only use:

1 Sheet of cardstock

2 Sheets of patterned paper

3 Photos

I chose my papers (both double sided), photos and card stock, then collected my inks, thickers, twine and 3 stars and went about making this LO:

Freya has reumatoid arthritis and it has caused her to have one leg longer than the other.  Add this to the arthritis being in both ankles and 1 knee she has really struggled to ride a bike.  This Easter she finally managed to so.  She was so pleased with herself that she had finally maaged to ride her bike and loves to ride as much as she can.  Sadly too much riding agrivates her joints and she pays for it later.

Sharing Stash Busting LO's Part 1

Here are some more of my recent LO's.  I currently have an overload of stash and keep opening kits when the arrive and not using all the kit up.  When next months kits arrive I put the older ones to the side and open the new boxes.  It is now getting to the stage that I have lots of half used kits and I tried to make a concerted effort to use up part kits.

In whittling the stash mountain down I have 'gifted' quite a number of things to Freya who is making great use of them.  You can see some of her recent work here.  Can you spot how she has used the same kits after me!  To be honest I think we were both using the Echo Park papers at the same time.

Introducing The Next Big Thing In Scrapping.....

I had been hearing please please please for many months from my Daughter.  Could she have a blog like me?  Well last Summer we sent one up and all went quite.  Last few weeks she has been going on constantly about when can we put something on her blog.  To celebrate National scrapbooking Day she completed 2 LO's (all by herself, only input from me was could she not scrap IN MY bed!). They were both part of Shimelle's challenges for NSD.  

Yesterday she wrote her first post.
