Lots & Lots Of LO's

Now that's a lot of L's!  I have scheduled this post for over the weekend as I will be away.  Here are the rest of the LO's I have completed this week.  On Thursday I went to Bromsgrove crop and completed the October pages for Document 2010:

And on Friday, you know when I was having my cup of tea and cake and not wanting to be lazy?  I did these:

Really happy as with these 4 LO's I finished up the May Scrapagogo kit.  One kit down, just another 17 to go!

Scrapping On A Dull Autumn Afternoon

Well weather was pretty rotten this afternoon so I spent some time trying to get that little butterfly above down to nil in order that I can buy some new stash.  Well this is some of what I achieved:

Road Trip:

Sky Ride:

September Document 2010 first page:

Plus I had a little sort out of stash.  Although I have now completed 45 LO's in my 50 LO challenge I really don't seem to have dented my stash pile at all.  I honestly think over the past 2 months the kits I have taken delivery of have actually increased my stash!

Looks like I need to think about a couple of months of LOAD before I buy more stash.  To be honest all I think I need a stock up of is white & cream cardstock, couple of new albums and protectors to store all the new completed LO's and I'd like a few new mists.  Apart from that I really do think I would be buying things for the sake of buying the new releases and I currently still have so much stash I love and need to use up before it takes over the house.  There is that much it doesn't fit in a 5 x 5 expedit unit.

So scrappers of blogland, watch this space for my new bust the stash challenge!

Document 2010

I completed my first page for Shimelle's Document 2010 which is being run on UKS!!!

This is the fourth page for June:

The way the weather was over the summer, this is the only month this year we actually had the pool out!  Here Liam and Freya are sat waiting and waiting for the pool to fill.

As I am taking up this project 9 months after it started I am going to struggle to complete the first page a I don't really have much memorabilia saved to place in the envelope.  Instead I am going to use a calender page and list things that we did or happened in that particular month.  I have taken apart a picture calender which has pockets in to add your own photos.  At the moment the particular months photos are in the pocket and I have written on what I want to include each month.

I have been having a look on UKS at some completed pages and I like the idea of adding news items in as well.  Think this will be useful where I am struggling to fill the 12 6" x 4" pages.

Is anyone else doing this project?

Its Friday! Look What's On My Workdesk!

Little late this week!  I really don't know where this week has gone.  Usually Monday to Thursday drags yet Friday to Sunday flies by and as soon as I know it its Monday morning and back to work again.  However, this week has been a little different its just flown by.  Just hoping the weekend goes a little slower.

If you want to join in at WOYWW please visit Julia's blog.

So here is my desk today:

I haven't done any crafting this week and although I have missed spending time scrapping I just don't know where I could have fitted any in.  Have to go out tomorrow midday for my flu jab but apart from that the weekend is free.  So plan to get some crafting in after this post on facebook:

Shimelle Laine working on part 2 of my big document:2010 catch up and will blog it in the morning. yay. :)

The conversation then went:

Candace, that's what this catch us session is all about though -- you can go back and do this for earlier times in the year. I'm doing five months in

five days, basically, because you can go quicker if you assembly-line it.
You can do nine months in under two weeks - that first photo step is the

most time-consuming and it is easy after that. :) And I *very* much promise
I am not dropping everything else to spend five entire days on it -- I'm
working on it outside of 'work' hours to make sure it is do-able. :)

And of course, the posts will be there forever, so you can wait till a week
that is good for you and then catch up all in one big session. And there
are plenty of us who will cheer you on if you let us know when you decide to
    go for it! :)

    xoxo

  • Candace Mantle Had thought about doing it now but unsure if I have enough photos for Jan & Feb - wasn't well & didn't take too many photos

Perhaps I can pad out with journalling. Need to sit down & see what I actually do have

  • Well have checked the photos and it is actually June that I have a shortage of photos for.  Every other month seem have have an adequate number for. This weekend I will be ordering an album and page protectors and off I will go.  Already placed an order for some photos but will need to order some others this weekend.  Obviously I don't have all the little bits to put in the envelope each month but I will just do a summary of the month on that page instead.

So there is another project to keep me busy during the dark cold nights.
