Your Smile

Before we went on holiday I had made my first LO with my CKC Summer Lovin' kit but had not posted it for you to see.

Photo taken back in December 2006.  Freya is the cow in the Nursery Nativity play.  Liam is in the beige standing behind her.  He was Joseph.

Not much progress this week as I have only managed 6 squares:

WOYWW (5 September 2012)

Thank God the kids go back to school today and I can start to tackle this:

Speaks for itself doesn't it and you can't even see what I have to move to get to the desk!

Pop on over to Julia to see some much tidier work spaces.

Tuesday Tallies (4 September 2012)

Wow, September, how on earth did that happen?  I think I am like alot on Mom's in the UK and looking forward to tomorrow so much when the kids go back to school.  Having said that we were really enjoying ourselves in Wales and having to go back to school/work was quite an inconvenience!

Last week I managed to crochet 4 squares.  This means I now have a total of 120 mini squares:

I then proceeded to sew them together.  I am making the blanket 12 squares wide which makes it just over the width of a single bed before a boarder is added, so a nice sized snuggle blanket.  Length will depend on supply of yarn.

Pop on over to Carole to see some other one a day projects.

1 Bucket, 1 Spade.....

..thats all you need really when you are 10 months old and you go on holiday to the sea side.  Its fun to play on the beach and knock down sand castles.  Photo of Liam taken in Wales 9 years ago:

This is LO number 8 made from the Summer Lovin' kit.  I am entering this in to this months challenge over at Studio Challenges where they have challenged us to to make a LO using numbers.  I am also entering this LO in to this months challenge at The Cupboard Trilogy as I have used bright colours, buttons and die cuts.
