10 Things On The 10th (January 2013)

I haven't taken part the last few months as the 10th just seems to have come and gone before I realise.  Is it me or does time seem to fly by so much quicker when you get older?  This month I am going to share with you 10 photographs that I am going to scrap this month.

2 Months

Thats how old little Thomas is in this photo.  In fact he is actually 3 months old next week and we are off to visit for his 3 month photo shoot at the weekend.  This is my LO which I gave a sneek of yesterday.  It is based on this sketch from Studio Calico and is for their Sunday Sketch Challenge.

Those ink splashes that I showed yesterday on my WOYWW post have got a little lost.  Typical eh?

ATDML's Cyber Crop Challenge Four

Challenge four was a sketch challenge.  I am really liking sketches the past few months and I'm loving searching for them on-line and seeing all the inspiration out there.  I have used a 5 x 7 photo and this meant that I couldn't fit two photos on the page.  This is a photo of Freya when she met her baby cousin Thomas for the first time at 3 days old.

I have quite a few flowers in my stash but really don't feel comfortable using them.  This sketch actually showed flowers and I decided to take the plunge.  Not sure if I have pulled it off though!  At least I am getting though some stash by using some of them which is the aim at the momment.  I started my 100 page challenge the 1st June as I have only completed 12 LO's its going to take me a while and until I do there is no more stash buying!

One Month Old

Last Saturday we had a two hour trip down to South Wales to visit a little boy who was 1 month old.  He is still waking every 2 hours day and night for feeds and naturally Mom and Dad are both exhausted.  It was a lovely day and I put Thomas in his pram and took him with Liam, Freya and his big Brother Gvidas off to the local Natonal Trust property which is a 5 minute walk away for a couple of hours fun in the grounds.  He fell asleep before we had even managed to get to the park grounds.

He slept lovely whilst the kids played.

When we got back, he had a feed and it was time for posing:

Then he decided he'd had enough!

Another Baby LO

Hope you all had a great long Bank Holiday weekend.  We went away to Liverpool for a few days and when I manage to find some time I will come back with some photos from our time away.  Just before I went I had a craft fix and made this LO:

Can't believe Thomas is 4 weeks old today.  We are off down to South Wales on Saturday to visit him and take his 1 month photos with his 'prop' that I brought on etsy.  Lets just hope the weather is better than today as I want to take Thomas on a little outing so his Mom and Dad can have a rest from the 2 hourly feeds, day and night EVERY 2 hours!

Project Life w/c 7 May

As I said on Friday I have also completed up to the 13 May Project Life pages.  This was the week Thomas was born so there are lots of extra inserts this week.  

Oh and the hair had gone a little too blonde, so I've gone back to brown.  Why doesn't my hairdresser understand subtle blonde highlights?

Liam And Freya Meet Their Baby Cousin

We had taken a trip down to Wales on Thursday evening to say hello to our new little bundle but sadly Liam and Freya due their age were unable to go on the ward.  This meant another 2 hour drive to South Wales on Saturday where lots of cuddles were had and oddles of ooohs and ahhhhs were heard.

10!

Today my little boy turns 10, double digits, a whole decade.

How did that happen?

It doesn't seem like yesterday he was so small and helpless.  Lying in an incubator after he came too soon.  

Lying there so helpless and so very ill, so very yellow.

Ever the big proud Brother, protecting and caring for his little Sister:

And here he is now holding his little cousin, ever the proud caring young man he has remained.

Holding his little cousin who looks the spit of him.  That same little nose, same bottom lip and those same big blue eyes.
