10 Things On The 10th

Time really does fly by so quick.  I always intend to join in and then before I know it the 10th has come and gone.  

This month i am setting down my 10 goals for the summer holidays:

1. Visit to a National Trust Property every week.
2. Finish one of my crochet projects
3. Complete at least half of my stash busting challenge (50 LOs)
4. Enter a craft challenge every week.
5. Go swimming every week.
6. Loose 1/2 stone.
7. Order 3 albums and file my 2011 &2012 LOs
8. Visit the seaside.
9. Try a new cake recipe every week.
10. Tick one item off my This Year I Will list that relates to the house renovations.

Tuesday Tallies (10 July 2012)

Only managed to complete 8 full squares this week but I have started to sew some of them together and tackle those dreaded ends!

Tuesday Tallies (3 July 2012)

I have started a new one a day project, yes I know its very naughty of me when I have so many WIPs at the moment but I needed a small project to take with me because my cahmerino ripple is getting too big to take out now.

I am making the Flowers In The Snow using Sublime Egyptian Cotton DK.  I have made 12 squares so far this week:

ATDML's Cyber Crop Challenge #2

Challenge 2 was to use bunting on your LO.  For this challenge I used ATDML's June sketch as inspiration.

With this LO I have now completed 5 out of the 6 challenges.  The remaining challenge (#1) is about stamping on your LO's.  I really am not a big fan of stamping as for the life of me I just can't do it!  No matter how hard I try it is never an even colour and I just can't stamp straight either.  Because of this I am giving this remaining challenge a miss.

I'd like to thank everyone of the DT from ATDML for a great weekend of inspiration which has got me scrapping and on my way to bust my stash and get me nearer to my 100 LO challenge.  Many thanks Ladies x

Freya Hijacks My Blog!

Freya (she's 8 years old) has been scrapping this weekend too.

For some reason we are having trouble signing in to her blog so I am putting her entry in to ATDML's Cyber Crop Challenge 5 on here for her.

Hope you like it.  This is her baby Cousin Thomas on his 1 month photo shoot. We both used the same sketch from sketch savvy.  I am under strict orders to tell everybody that she did her LO first and I copied her.
