You have until tomorrow to enter. Good look.

WOYWW or should that be Whats On Your Workdesk Thursday?

I know I know, should have done this yesterday but really busy.  Today desk looks like this:

Inside crochet basket, 4 balls of wool and a completed first 3 rounds of a Granny Square.  I am using turquoise, yellow, pink and green as in the photo plus a purple (2nd round in Granny Square) which is in my handbag ready to crochet on the journey to work:

Chochet basket is actually two baskets inside each other (nice bargain Asda 3 baskets for £3).  Inside the second basket underneath are about 30 of the first round of the Granny Squares in a mix of colours:

Close up of the 3 round Granny Square.  Another round in cream to be added.  Was going to do in mix of colours but didn't look right so now going to complete in cream.  Just need to go and buy the wool, another job to add to Saturdays list!

Packets of seeds to be planted at the allotment this weekend:

Very large handbag was overflowing and part of the contents dumped on the table Tuesday night plus some post:

Some new stash additions, Scrapagogo & Sarah's Cards Monthly subscription kits:

Part of my button collection.  I just love buttons:

Todays view from the window:

The daffs around the tree were all in flower and looking so beautiful and suddenly in the space of two days they have all died off.  oooooo summer must be coming??????

Would do a pan around the whole room but as I said been really busy and not even I am prepared to shame myself by putting a picture of the rest of the room on here!

Would like to say I did visit everyone last week but didn't manage to leave many comments due to living in a hectic madhouse.  Will try to get round to everyone at the weekend if I can get the kids to bed early and have a little me time.

Would like to say a big thank you to some very very special people who have been my rock over the past few weeks with everything that has happened.  Sorry but can't explain on here what has happened but life just fell apart.  My only winge is why are you not following me??????  I know you come & look!

Love and kisses to you all xxx

PS.  Found phone but won't have it back until tomorrow night, so email me or call me at work tomorrow, or even pop round for tea and cakes.  Its not like certain people wait to be invited to come & eat cakes - MRS JOHNSON! I swear you can smell them cooking from your house!

UKS Cyber Crop - Angel Islington Class and Vine Street Challenge

Completed a couple of LO's today for the Monopoly Cyber Crop at UKS.  Hoping to complete a few more tomorrow.  Unlike Shimelle's Crop Party, deadlines for completion are a lot stricter.  Just about met the Angel Islington 4pm deadline with a couple of minutes to spare.

Shimelle's Crop Party - Saturday 6pm & Sunday 4pm Challenges

Managed to complete another one.  Taking total to six LO and one card this weekend, completing 9 of the 18 challenges.  Wow, never completed so much in such a short spece of time before.

Entering this LO for both of the above challenges:

Happiness really is these two little horrors, sorry meant to type angels!

There can't be anymore scrapping tonight as it is now gone 1am and my alarm goes off at 4.45 in time for a wonderful day ahead at work!

To think it is UKS Cybercrop next weekend, meaning a repeat of this weekend.  Yay!

Note to self - must do housework during the week as will have no time next weekend and we don't own enough clothes to go 2 weeks without washing & ironing.........could always buy some more mmmmmmm.

Shimelle's Crop Party - Sunday 8am Challenge

The first challenge for today was to create a LO using the following sketch:

This is my interpretation:

I've enjoyed the crop this weekend and am looking forward to the crop at UKS starting this Friday evening.  This will be my last LO for this weekend.  Surprised how many I completed yesterday but a little sad that after completing four LO's & one card yesterday I have only managed to complete one LO today.

Life sadly gets in the way of scrapping and this is why I seem to end up as a wannabe scrapbook addict.

Shimelle's Crop Party - Saturday 8pm Challenge

Getting a little 'Scrap Tired' now! LOL

Here is what I think will be my final post for the day,  a LO with two 4" x 6" photos.  Scraplifted from one of the LO posted by Shimelle as an example of this challenge:

Shimelle's Crop Party - Saturday 8am Challenge

As you can see I am not doing the challenges in order.  I will however, not be doing todays 10am challenge as it is a digital LO or the Midday Challenge.  I have never done digital scrapping and I don't have any inclination to either.  For me, scrapping is about paper, the touch, the feel, the colours.  the Midday challenge is based on a coffee cup shaped mini book.  I don't like coffee and really don't have any appropriate pictures to scrap.

Now onto todays 8am challenge.  Again this is based on a sketch, which involves 4 squares of pp.  This is my interpretation:

Shimelle's Crop Party - Saturday 4pm Challenge

This challenge is to use up scraps from recent projects.  I created 'Karate Kids' with papers left over from my cupcake card and 'Catch Me If You Can' LO:

Freya (aged 6) has also entered her card into the cupcake challenge:

I scored the base card for her and she did everything else herself.  Well done Frey xxx

Shimelle's Crop Party - Saturday 2pm Challenge

Today's 2pm challenge is a scraplift from a choice of 4 designs with the prize being a selection of Cosmo Cricket goodies.

I have chosen to scraplift the 4th option and my interpretation is:

Shimelle's Crop Party - Friday 6pm & 8pm Challenges

Going to cheat a little on Friday's Challenges!

The 6pm challenge was to do with cupcakes - bake, make a card or scrap LO.  I choose to make a card but with a twist.  I've used the Cupcake range of papers by Basic Grey.

The 8pm challenge was scrap using a LO provided by Shimelle.  In order to complete as many challenges as I can this weekend, I have combined both the 6pm & 8pm challenges by turning the sketch into a card.

My project for both challenges is:

Must go as Freya has decided she want to join in and wants to make a cupcake card for Liam's birthday next month.

Bromsgrove Crop

Went to the Bromsgrove Crop on Thursday night and completed 2 LO's.

First one is for my Son's album and is a picture taken on the first day of our Summer holiday last year when we went down to the River Thames to explore.  Just look what we found.  Both kids wanted to go down nearly every free minute to either feed the ducks and swans or paddle in the Thames.  Please note, we were up stream of London, hence clean water!

Second LO was of my Daughter on her bike, racing round the street:

Both are quite simple LO's.  Resisted from adding lots of embellisments.  Just need to add the journalling to Freya's page but unsure what to add just yet.  Liam's will be part of a multi page LO all about our holiday which included a trip to Windsor and the Castle plus a fun outing to Legoland.  Will most likely have a journalling page detailing what we did.
